Copy (duplicate) a Report

Copying a report leverages an existing report to easily create a new report. Use this to copy all dimensions from an existing report (including filters and sections) into a new report. The new report can be modified at any time.

Note: Only reports you have access to may be copied.

Within the Analytics Reports UI locate the required report; the search feature can help. Follow the steps below to either copy the report from the list view or open the report and copy it from the report panel.

Copy a report from the List View

  1. Open the list of reports - click the options menu (...) on the far right of the report line.
  2. From the dropdown select create a copy.
  3. Name the Report - the default is "copy of " but a new name can be entered here.
  4. Save - click save to finalize the copy. The copied report will have a new report idea.

Copy a report from within the report panel

  1. From the list view click the report name to open it.
  2. Click the options menu (...) on the upper right of the panel.
  3. From the dropdown select create a copy.
  4. Name the Report - the default is "copy of " but a new name can be entered here.
  5. Save - click save to finalize the copy. The copied report will have a new report idea.
